Dr.S.S.D.Pandey, Ph.D., FRAS, recipient of Wagle Gold Medal and BHU Gold Medal, Fellow of Royal Asiatic Society (Great Britain & Ireland), is an Indian, an economist, a researcher, author, academician, an International Strategy & Management Professional.
With a background in Physics, Chemistry & Biology he received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1981, First class first in Institution from University of Gorakhpur, focusing on Psychology,(Experimental Psychophysics,Physiological Psychology and Abnormal Psychology) ,Philosophy (Symbolic Logic,Indian and Western Philosophy) and Economics; Master’s Degree in Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India, with specialization in Mathematical Methods & Econometrics (1983), standing first class first in Order of Merit, won The Wagle Gold Medal and BHU Gold Medal. He received his Ph.D. (1991), from the same University in overlapping areas of Mathematical Control Systems, Economics of Information and Psycho-physiological Behavioral Science to explore decision making, structuring and modus operandi of Business Organizations.
His involvement has been quite multidisciplinary: Complex Systems & Synergetics, International Strategic Management, Development Economics & Policy Research, Logic, Methodology & Philosophy of Science.In addition, to the studies in Sophia Perennis, Eternal Wisdom, Vedanta including Ayurveda.

In the year 1990, he founded Institute for Synergetics & Fundamental Research while still a research student at Banaras Hindu University Varanasi,which in 1992, formally became the "Global Synergetic®, a Think Tank with a mission, and a non resident Indian multinational entity now, that endeavours to clarify the misconceptions which have been prevailing with human civilisation causing distructions, injustice and sufferings for millennia and strives for World Peace and works for International Managerial and Strategic Development,Institutional Capacity Building and reforms. He also founded Shri Jagdish Foundation as an integral non profit part of the Global Synergetic, which focuses on the Eternal Wisdom (Sanatan Dharma), Primordial and Perennial Wisdom and Social Order,Rights,Justice & Development.
Before he started working for full time for his Global Synergetic in February 2004, he taught economics and management at graduate and postgraduate levels,(January 1990-January 2004). He is also with Gerson Lehrman Group,Texas,(US) as a Premier Educator & Council Member .
He has been a Fellow of Royal Asiatic Society (Great Britain & Ireland), and life member of The Indian Mathematical Society,, Indian Econometric Society, Econometric Society (US), Society for Industrial and Applied mathematics, (SIAM), IC-ICTP (Trieste Italy),IAGRG, Indian Science Congress Association and a member of IEEE (US), IEEE-Computer Society, IEEE-Communication Society, International Neural Network Society and British Society of Philosophy of Science and Society for Medieval Logic and Metaphysics (P.S.M.L.M.)
